24/08: Charlotte's Baby Blessing
We had Charlotte blessed last night at the Larsen's home. It was lovely. She was blessed that she would be a very loving and generous individual and many other LOVELY things. The blessing also mentioned how happy her family is to have her and how we have prayed for her to come. She is so darling. Here is a picture of the family while Mikey is still wearing his tie and Charlotte is still wearing her dress...well, I cant get pictures to work on this site any more. I'll have to get around to making a new blog...someday.
07/08: Mikey's First Prayer
We were reading from the Book of Mormon this morning and Mikey started his very first prayer. Heavenly Father, thank food, and some other stuff we didn't understand and then he started reciting his letters and signing them, so he didn't quite close correctly, but it was very cute, and it's his first time to string more than one part of a prayer together. These are from few weeks back. Mikey got the dr gear at a big brother/sister intro to the hospital. I didn't think they were safe toys so I took pix and tossed them.

Before we went swimming they are both in their swim suits Mikey has a T-shirt on too.
It's funny I guess Mikey is wearing the same shirt in both these pix. He wears other shirts too...what a funny coincidence.
03/07: Mikey's B-Day
Yeah sprinkles!
Charlotte grins for the camera, it was a bad angle for her, but we got the grin and the milk tongue.
It my first cake and though my mom has taught me some cake skills, I just couldn't take that uch time. Mikey helped with the sprinkles and picked out the worms and green piping color. The cake is also purple as per his request, i food coloringed a pink strawberry cake. It was cute!
He didn't figure out he blow out the candle part so we helped.
My mom and dad got Mikey a ride on truck. He was a blur, so picture taking was tough.
This is part of Mikey's present from Auntie Tara and family. We also got an airplane with Great Grandpa Wall's bday money.
We also got many other cute things, including cute shirts from the Larsen grandparents, a shopping basket full of play groceries from mom and dad, a dr set from mom and dad and an adorable musical card from grandpa wall. Also many lovely things from friends who came to his super low-key cake and icecream party. Wish you could have all been here. Next year maybe :). Thanks to all, we love you.

26/06: Weekly Pictures Requested
Hi there, mom Larsen asked for weekly "update" pictures to see how the kids were growing. I thought these would be great on the brown heart blanket my mom and grandma Charlotte made for when Mikey was born.My mom requested pictures of Mikey's b-day and I did take them and would put them on now, but the picture download process is very complicated right now since the port that takes memory cards on our computer is broken, AND the cord that connects the camera to the computer has also broken. Phew what a mess...

13/06: All Alone .... WAAA
So we had a baby, her name is Charlotte Elena Larsen. She was 8lb 11oz at birth and 19.5" long. The labor went well, 4 hrs and 5 pushes in the hospital. Though I sort of feel like I was laboring for going on 3 weeks :). She was only 4 days late unlike brother who was 10 days late. If she had had 6 more days, she may have made it to Mikey's 9lb 10 oz. She has very dark brown hair and blur eyes. We'll see how long they both last :).We had my mom here for a week, luckily Charlotte was born while she was here and didn't make grandma change her ticket. I miss you mom. Then we had the Larsens here for a week. I miss you mom Larsen and dad Larsen! The grandparents were so wonderful. They did dishes and laundry, they took midnight shifts and baby sat Mikey. They took millions of adorable photos and let everyone know the progress of when Charlotte was born. It was so nice to have you guys here! We so appreciated it. Hey does anyone else want to come out and take care of us? The ward and our friends are going to bring a few meals in and we should be ok, it's just a little scary to be back on our own. Today went very well, except Mikey learned to climb out of his crib (he figured out his play pen on Tuesday, evidently those skills transfer). We are now needing to figure out quick how to get him to sleep when he can get up. YIKES. Any good advice will be welcome.
